Terms of service

The terms you agree to when you buy from The Good Room.

Who you are buying from

The Good Room is an online shop based in the United States. These terms apply to everything sold through this site.

By placing an order you confirm that you are able to enter into a contract and that the details you have given us are accurate.

Products and descriptions

We describe every piece as accurately as we can, using information from the makers and suppliers we work with. Photographs are representative; colour and grain vary between screens and between individual pieces, particularly in wood, stone and glazed ceramics.

Where a piece is handmade, small variations are part of it rather than a fault.

Availability can change. If something you ordered turns out to be unavailable we will tell you and refund it in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and may change, though never after you have placed an order.

Payment is taken through Shopify Checkout. We do not see or store your card details.

If a price is listed incorrectly we will contact you before charging you, and you can confirm or cancel the order.

Shipping and returns

Our shipping and return policies are part of these terms and are published on this site.

Using this site

The text, photography and design on this site belong to The Good Room or to the makers we work with, and are not to be reused commercially without permission.

Please do not attempt to interfere with the site or use it for anything unlawful.

Liability

We are responsible for supplying the pieces you order, as described. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.

Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected by anything on this page.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The version published when you place an order is the one that applies to it.

Any question about these terms can be sent to us and we will answer it.

This is The Good Room's stated policy. It is also published in our Shopify store, which is what applies at checkout.
